A Historic Edition: 20 Years of Ephemeral Art

This year is not just any Christmas. The Sand Nativity celebrates its 20th anniversary, established as one of Spain’s most important cultural and tourist milestones. Its significance is such that this year, its image is featured on millions of Spanish National Lottery tickets.

Earthmovers have already begun work in front of Saulo Torón square (La Puntilla area) to shape 1,500 m³ of sand over a 1,500 m² area.
